Glasgow, Scotland's largest city, is situated on the west coast, on the banks of the river Clyde. It is a cosmopolitan city with a population of over 600,000. Check out what is happening in the city centre by looking at the George Square webcam.
We live in a suburb, south of the river, close to the world renowned Burrell collection which is located in Pollok Country Park.
Spectacular countryside, mountains, islands and coastal scenery are within easy reach of the city. Some of our favorite places are the Isle of Bute and the house and extensive parkland at Mount Stuart; Dunoon on the Cowal Peninsular; Largs on the Ayreshire coast and the island of Cumbrae a short ferry ride from it.
Further a field, Rosa, Amber and Nick enjoy going camping at Blair Athol which is only an hour and a half away by train.
